The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 6 April 2009 was 190.24p (ex
income) 188.87p (cum income).

Fully Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
2,543,250 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 6 April 2009 was 189.75p (ex income) 188.44p (cum income).
