The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 7 April 2010 was 282.83p (ex
income) 283.06p (cum income).

Fully Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
2,048,612 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 7 April 2010 was 282.41p (ex income) 282.63p (cum income).
