Appointment of Group Commercial Director
FirstGroup announced today that Dean Finch has been appointed to the new
position of Group Commercial Director. He will also join the PLC Board with
immediate effect. Dean (37) is a Chartered Accountant and was trained at KPMG.
He has worked as the Group's Managing Director, Railways, for the past three
years and has been with FirstGroup since 1999.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales,
of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and holds an MBA from the University of
Bath.
The Board are confident that this appointment will strengthen significantly our
commercial business development in the longer term.
Dean has options over 132,115 FirstGroup plc shares at the date of his
appointment. There are no other details required to be disclosed under
paragraph 16.4 of the Listing Rules.
