RELEASE OF PLEDGED SHARES

Further to the announcement made by Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. on 22 January
2009, the Company has today been notified by Michael Turner that the 87,500
Ordinary `C' shares of 40p each in the Company which were registered in the
name of Barclayshare Nominees Ltd for many years under a loan arrangement with
Barclays Bank (but which were beneficially owned by Mr Turner), were
transferred, on 12 March 2009, into his own name, confirming the end of this
loan arrangement. These shares represent 0.06% of the total issued share
capital and 1.65% of Mr Turner's total beneficial interests in Company shares.
