Treasury Shares

The Company announces that following the transfer of 983 Treasury shares from
the Treasury Shares Account to a participant exercising Share Options under the
Company's Save as You Earn Share Option Scheme, the issued share capital for
the `A' ordinary shares of £0.40 each is 33,432,259 of which 1,070,835 (3.20%)
are treasury shares.
