Compliance with Model Code

EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST PLC

In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 15.5.1(4)R the Company today
announces that all inside information which the Directors and the Company had
in the periods leading up to an announcement of results has previously been
notified to a RIS and accordingly the Company need not comply with the
provisions of the close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the
Company's ordinary shares during the period prior to the announcement of its
annual financial report.
