EP Global Opportunities Trust plc

The Company has been informed that Mr Richard Burns, a Director of EP Global
Opportunities Trust plc, purchased today 200,000 Ordinary shares of the Company
at a price of 140 pence per share.

He also purchased today a further 200,000 Ordinary shares of the Company at a
price of 138p pence per share.

Mr Burns now has an interest in 827,000 Ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 2.68% of the issued Ordinary shares.
