Director/PDMR Shareholding

EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST plc (the "Company")

The Company has been informed that on 15 October 2008, Miss Kenah Cryer,
partner of David Hough, a Director of the Company, purchased 4,000 Ordinary
shares of the Company for inclusion in an ISA, all at a price of 126.72 pence
per share.

Mr Hough now has an interest in 44,000 Ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 0.14% of the issued Ordinary shares. All Mr Hough's shares are now
held in an ISA.
