Director Shareholding

EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST plc

The Company has been informed that on 28 October 2004 David Hough, a Director
of EP Global Opportunities Trust plc, purchased 7,000 Ordinary shares of the
Company at a price of 102 pence per share, for inclusion in a PEP.

Mr Hough now has an interest in 19,000 Ordinary shares of the Company,
representing 0.09% of the issued Ordinary shares.
