Further to the notification by the Company in the Annual Report and Financial
Statements for the year ended 31 December 2013, the Company announces that
having served as a non-executive Director of the Company since its launch in
2003, Mr Richard Burns has today retired from the Board.

Mr Teddy Tulloch, Chairman of the Company said, "Mr Burns' many years of
investment experience and his understanding of investment trusts have been of
immense value to the Board. I have greatly valued his input and advice over the
years. The Board would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him
every success in the future."

Following the retirement of Mr Burns, Mr Giles Weaver has been appointed as the
chairman of the Audit and Management Engagement Committee of the Company.
