EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST PLC

Based on a bid price valuation, the unaudited net asset value per Ordinary
Share of the Company as at 1 February 2008 was 168.61 pence.

This is based on 32,413,180 Ordinary Shares, being the issued capital of
33,998,180 Ordinary Shares less 1,585,000 Ordinary Shares held in treasury.
