Transaction in Own Shares

EP Global Opportunities Trust Plc (the `Company')

The Company announces that on 15 November 2007 it purchased 48,000 of its own
Ordinary 1p shares at a price of £1.52 per share. The shares have been placed
into Treasury.

Following these transactions, the Company has 892,902 Ordinary shares held in
Treasury and 33,105,278 Ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
shares in issue remains as 33,998,180.
