Hays plc advises in accordance with LR 9.6.14, that Bob Lawson, Chairman of
Hays plc, will join the Board of Barratt Developments PLC on 1 June 2008 and
will become non-executive Chairman of Barratt Developments with effect from 1
July 2008.
