HEADLINE:   PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 16 June 2016, it purchased for cancellation 30,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 186.25p per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 3,277,224 ordinary shares held in treasury and 84,774,439 ordinary shares in circulation.  The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 88,051,663.
