Investec year end results presentation to be held on 19 May 2005

Investec will be releasing its results for the year ended 31 March 2005 on the
LSE and JSE news services at 7am (UK time) on 19 May 2005. An investor
presentation will take place at 9am (UK time) from our offices in London (2
Gresham Street, EC2V 7HQ), and via satellite to our offices in Johannesburg and
Cape Town. Conference call facilities and a delayed webcast of the presentation
