Directorate change: Richard Cousins
In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11, the Board of Reckitt Benckiser Group
plc (RB) today announces that Richard Cousins, a non-executive director since
October 2009, has decided not to offer himself for re-election as a director of
RB at the AGM to be held in May 2014. Richard is assuming an increasingly
day-to-day operational role as CEO of Compass Group plc which he has concluded
will impact on his ability to devote sufficient time to his role as a
non-executive director of RB. He will accordingly retire from the RB Board on 7
May 2014.
Commenting on today's announcement, Adrian Bellamy, Chairman, said:
"The Board thanks Richard for his contribution to the Board since he was
appointed in October 2009 and fully respects and understands his decision to
step down from the RB Board. "
