HEADLINE: Appointment of Director

The Board of Keystone Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr Ian Armfield as a non-executive Director of the Company with
effect from 1 November 2012.

He was previously an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 20 years,
where his specialisation was financial services with a particular focus on
asset management.

There is no information regarding Mr Armfield requiring disclosure under rule
9.6.13R of the Financial Services Authority's Listing Rules.
