Exposure to Costa Concordia
Lancashire Holdings Limited ("the Company") today announces that based on an
industry loss of $850 million, Lancashire's exposure to the January 2012 Costa
Concordia cruise ship loss is estimated to be approximately $35 million net of
reinsurance and reinstatement premiums. Due to the preliminary nature of
reports and estimates of loss to date, Lancashire's actual loss from this event
may vary materially from this estimate. As the investigation of the loss
continues, the Company will provide further updates as necessary.
