Mathieu has more than 13 years of insurance and investment experience, having previously spent the last 6 years with Pentelia Capital Management (Bermuda) Ltd, an insurance-linked securities ("ILS") fund managing catastrophe bonds, Industry Loss Warranties and collateralised reinsurance. His duties included risk modeling, portfolio construction and management of all ILS asset classes. Prior to that, he served as an insurance derivatives trader for Ritchie Capital Management (Bermuda) Ltd, and before that as an actuarial advisor for Desjardins Financial Security.
