Transaction in own shares
Lancashire Holdings Limited (the "Company") announces that on 29 June 2010, it
purchased 100,000 Common Shares at a price of 494.01 pence per share
(approximately $7.44 per share at the current exchange rate).
The lowest price and the highest price paid for these shares were 491.1 pence
and 496.8 pence, respectively. All the purchased shares will be cancelled.
Following the above purchases, the Company holds 16,950,445 Common Shares in
Treasury.
The Company has 156,701,802 Common Shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure
and Transparency Rules.
