Notification of directors' interests: Companies Act 1985 s.329.
The Trustee of the Liontrust Asset Management Employee Trust has notified the
Company that it sold in the market a total of 20,870 ordinary shares in the
Company on 7 November 2006 at a price of 350p per share. Following this
transaction, the Trust held a total of 3,844,432 ordinary shares in the Company
in which the following directors had an interest as potential beneficiaries: V.
K. Abrol, N. R. Legge, J. D. Lang and W. T. Pattisson.
The Liontrust Asset Management Employee Trust is a trust, which purchases or
subscribes for ordinary shares in the Company, so as to allow the Trustee to
satisfy the exercise of options granted under the Liontrust Enterprise
Management Incentive Scheme.
