Liontrust Asset Management PLC ("the Company") has been notified on 19 June
2006 of dealing in the Company's ordinary shares as follows:

Nigel Legge and Vinay Abrol, directors of the Company, are participants in the
Company's Employee Share Ownership Plan (the "ESOP") and on 19 June 2006 were
allocated 110 ordinary shares each at a price of 342p per share.

Nigel Legge's total interest following this notification is 894,746 ordinary
shares or 2.54% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Vinay Abrol's
total interest following this notification is 406,618 ordinary shares or 1.16%
of the total issued share capital of the Company.
