Liontrust Asset Management PLC ("the Company") has been notified on 9 March
2007 of dealing in the Company's ordinary shares as follows:

Nigel Legge and Vinay Abrol, directors of the Company, are participants in the
Company's Employee Share Ownership Plan (the "ESOP") and on 9 March 2007 were
each allocated 93 ordinary shares at a price of 401p per share.

Nigel Legge's total interest following this notification is 895,876 ordinary
shares or 2.66% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Vinay Abrol's
total interest following this notification is 407,795 ordinary shares or 1.21%
of the total issued share capital of the Company.
