Transaction In Own Shares
Liontrust Asset Management PLC ("the Company") announces that on 31 January
2007 it purchased through JP Morgan Cazenove Limited 17,372 ordinary shares at
a price of 380 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be cancelled.
Following the above purchase the total number of ordinary shares with voting
rights in issue is 33,745,922. None of these ordinary shares are held in
Treasury.
The above figure of 33,745,922 shares may be used by shareholders as the
denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the
Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
