                     APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR                     

 

London & Associated Properties PLC ('LAP'), the specialist retail property
investment company, today announces that Clive Anthony Parritt, aged 62, has
joined the board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2006.

Clive Parritt is a chartered accountant with over 25 years experience of
providing strategic, financial and commercial advice to businesses in the
services sector. Until February 2001 he was chairman of Baker Tilly, having
been its national managing partner for 10 years until June 1996.

Clive is a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in
England and Wales and is chairman of its Audit Committee. He is chairman
of Baronsmead VCT 2 plc, BET-on-SPORTS plc (listed on AIM) and a venture
capital backed training business BG Consulting Group Limited, a director of AIM
listed CardioMag Imaging, Inc (a developer of non-invasive heart function
diagnosis equipment) and business centre operator Harvard Managed Offices
Limited.

Clive Parritt has been a director of the following publicly quoted companies
