MAJEDIE INVESTMENTS PLC
In conformity with the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rule 3.1.2 of the
Financial Services Authority the Company advises that on 22 August 2008 Mrs G
Leates, a Person Dispensing Managerial Responsibility on behalf of the Company,
exercised the following share options, totalling 168,678 Ordinary shares of 10p
each of the Company, representing 0.32% of the issued share capital.
58,265 Ordinary shares at an exercise price of 196.50p per share;
55,079 Ordinary shares at an exercise price of 221.50p per share;
55,334 Ordinary shares at an exercise price of 231.50p per share.
The total number of shares were purchased on exercise from the Trustees of the
Majedie Investments PLC Employee Incentive Trust and subsequently sold in the
market by the Trustees on behalf Mrs Leates on 29 August 2008 at a price of
293.5p per share.
The share options were granted and held under the terms of the Discretionary
Share Option Scheme 2000.
Following the exercise of options and sale of shares Mrs G Leates has a
beneficial interest in 6,164 Ordinary shares, representing 0.01% of the issued
share capital.
