Company, acquired on 29 January 2003, 62 ordinary shares of 10p each
(representing 0.0% of the issued class of capital) at a price of 167p each. The
shares were acquired through a dividend re-investment, and are held in the
Company's Corporate ISA Scheme.

The Company was further advised that Mrs G Leates, acquired on 19 March 2003, 7
ordinary shares of 10p each (representing 0.0% of the issued class of capital)
at a price of 175p each. The shares were acquired through a re-investment of
tax deducted from dividends and are held in the Company's Corporate ISA Scheme.

Mrs G Leates is now deemed to have a disclosable interest in 2,189 ordinary
shares, representing 0.00% of the issued share capital.
