Majedie Investments PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Gadd
as a non executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 October 2009.
Paul Gadd has spent 20 years in the City working in corporate finance.  He
retired as a partner of Ashurst in April 2009, prior to which he was head of
Ashurst's investment company practice.

There are no details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R.
