MAJEDIE INVESTMENTS PLC

The Company announces that a total of 196,995 options to subscribe for Ordinary
shares were awarded under the Company's Discretionary Share Option Scheme at an
exercise price of 196.5p per share on 22 November 2002.   Directors of the
Company to whom options were awarded are as follows:

The total number of options granted by the Company is now 469,023, in respect
