Share Options

MAJEDIE INVESTMENTS PLC

The Company announces that a total of 161,624 options to subscribe for Ordinary
shares were awarded under the Company's Discretionary Share Option Scheme at an
exercise price of 221.5p per share on 18 March 2004. Directors of the Company
to whom options were awarded are as follows:

The options awarded are in addition to those previously granted - details of
