Manchester & London Investment Trust plc ('the Company') announces that Mr.
Brian Stephen Sheppard, a founding director of the Company, has tendered, and
the board has accepted, his resignation as a non-executive Director of the
Company, with effect from 30 August 2013.

With immediate effect, Mr. Brett Lance Miller, 45, has been appointed to the
Board as a non-executive Director to replace Mr. Sheppard.

Mr. Miller is executive director of Damille Partners Limited, Damille
Investments Limited and Damille Investments II Limited. Mr. Miller also
presently serves as a director of the following public companies: a
non-executive director of EIH plc, a non-executive director of Rapid
Realisations Fund Limited, a non-executive director of Loudwater Trust Limited,
and as a non-executive director of Pactolus Hungarian Property plc.

In the last 5 years, Mr. Brett Lance Miller was previously a director of
Stakeholders' Momentum Investment Ltd which is now a subsidiary of the Company.
