New contract wins
MediaZest, the creative digital out-of-home advertising company, is pleased to
announce several new contract wins.
As previously indicated, the Board has pursued a policy this year of increasing
its investment in the sales team and in particular the development of new
business in the Corporate sector. The Company is therefore pleased to announce
its first major win in this sector for several years with a substantial summer
project for a City of London based private equity company
In addition, trading in this period within the Education sector has been
encouraging, with several wins including a large teaching rooms project for a
university in London. The Company is also pleased to announce the extension of
its appointment under the Inter-regional AV Equipment Agreement, as announced
in November 2010, originally for 3 years. This agreement has been extended,
under the same terms for a further year to 1 November 2014.
The Company was delighted to be invited to work with Samsung further during
July 2013 on their inaugural Retail Hospitality Summit, which brought together
senior industry decision makers, analysts and opinion formers to discuss the
future of technology in those sectors. The event showcased Samsung's latest
technology for the retail and hospitality sectors first hand through a series
of specially designed and themed experience zones. These zones incorporated
some third party solutions including several from MediaZest, along with bespoke
content also provided by the MediaZest team.
Combined revenues from these new contract wins is expected to be in excess of
£200,000 in the current financial year.
Retail and event based work continues to be the Group's primary market, and the
Board is pleased to announce the opening of its new London based showroom,
which is expected to assist in driving revenues by giving the Company a means
to demonstrate its unique technology offering.
Geoff Robertson, MediaZest CEO commented: "The Company has delivered a strong
performance over the last few months and we are delighted to announce the above
mentioned new business wins on top of the substantial pipeline already closed
for Financial Year 2014. Opportunities and invitations to pitch continue to
increase and we expect the new demonstration suite and our continuing and
increased investment in the sales team to reap additional rewards as the year
develops."
