Matrix Income & Growth 4 VCT plc announces that on 20 October 2010 it purchased
for cancellation 66,000 of its Ordinary Shares at a price of 99.0 pence per
share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 20,961,687 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
