Appointment to Andor Technology plc

Andor Technology plc ("Andor") has appointed Jonathan Flint and Kevin Boyd
(Chief Executive and Finance Director of Oxford Instruments plc (the
"Company")) as Non Executive Directors effective 22 January 2014. This follows
yesterday's announcement that the Company has received valid acceptances for
more than 90% of Andor's issued share capital and that its offer is now
unconditional in all respects.

This announcement is in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14.
