This notification is prompted by disposal of shares on 7 June 2006, by Aviva
plc and its subsidiaries. It relates to issued ordinary shares of £0.05p each
in the capital of Oxford Instruments plc in fulfilment of the obligations
imposed by sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985.
1. Aviva plc and its subsidiaries.
1.1. Morley Fund Management are interested in 1,806,408 shares, which is equal
to 3.71% of the issued share capital of Oxford Instruments.
1.2. The identity of the registered holders of the shares to which this
notification relates are set out in the table below.
