Limited as trustee of the BT Pension Scheme has an interest in 5,287,428
(Indirect) Ordinary Shares of 5p each which, represents 10.706% of the issued
share capital of the Company. The number of Indirect voting rights is also
5,287,428.
Of the above amount Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund has a direct interest
in 4,336,606 Ordinary Shares of 5p each which represents 8.781% of the issued
share capital of Oxford Instruments plc.
BT Pension Scheme Trustees Limited is the parent undertaking of Britel Fund
Trustees Limited, which is the parent undertaking of Hermes Fund Managers
Limited. Hermes Fund Managers Limited is the parent undertaking of:
1. Hermes Equity Ownership Services Limited (voting rights held in this issuer
0.279%)
2. Hermes Focus Asset Management Limited (voting rights held in this issuer
