Oxford Instruments plc 2003/04 Interim Results

The Directors of Oxford Instruments plc will be meeting on Tuesday 11 November
2003 to approve the accounts for the half year to 30 September 2003 for
publication and to agree the Interim Dividend for the year to 31 March 2004.

The Dividend will be payable on 26 March 2004 to members on the register at the
close of business on 27 February 2004 (the record date).

The announcement of the Company's Interim Results will be released to the Stock
Exchange on Tuesday 11 November 2003.
