Oxford Instruments plc 2002/03 Interim Results

The Directors of Oxford Instruments plc will be meeting on Wednesday 13th
November 2002 to approve the accounts for the half year to 30 September 2002
for publication and to agree the Interim Dividend for the year to 31 March
2003.

The Dividend will be payable on 24 March 2003 to members on the register at the
close of business on 21 February 2003 (the record date).

The announcement of the Company's Interim Results will be released to the Stock
Exchange on Wednesday 13th November 2002.
