Oxford Instruments plc 2005/06 Interim Results

The Directors of Oxford Instruments plc will be meeting on Tuesday 22 November
2005 to approve the accounts for the half year to 30 September 2005 for
publication and to agree the Interim Dividend for the year to 31 March 2006.

The Dividend will be payable on 6 April 2006 to members on the register at the
close of business on 10 March 2006 (the record date).

The announcement of the Company's Interim Results will be released to the Stock
Exchange on Tuesday 22 November 2005.
