6 June 2002 ONLINE TRAVEL CORPORATION PLC ACQUIRES ONLINETRAVEL.COM, AND ANNOUNCES NEW AIRLINE CONTRACTS Online Travel Corporation plc ('OTC'), the travel technology and distribution group, announced today that it has acquired the website Onlinetravel.com from US based World Travel Partners for an undisclosed amount. Mark Jones, CEO of OTC, commented: 'We are usually described as Online Travel in the sector and as our reputation grows, it is important for us to have the onlinetravel.com web address as an umbrella brand and reference point.' OTC also announced a new contract to provide fledgling airline BMI Baby with fulfillment in Ireland and hotel and villa products in the UK and new Preferred Agent Status with British Airways, one of only four online businesses and one of some twenty businesses to achieve this in the UK.
