19th October 2012 Pantheon International Participations PLC Net Asset Value at 30th September 2012 Pantheon International Participations PLC ("PIP" or the "Company"), the quoted private equity fund-of-funds investment trust, today announces an unaudited net asset value ("NAV") per share of 1,178.1p at 30th September 2012, a decrease of 0.9% for the month. During the month, net gains from the portfolio of 3.0p per share were outweighed by losses from foreign exchange movements. PIP's valuation policy for private equity funds is based on the latest valuations reported by the managers of the fund in which PIP has holdings. In the case of PIP's valuation at 30th September 2012, the majority of reported valuations (accounting for circa 97% by value) are dated 30th June 2012. At 30th September 2012, PIP's private equity assets stood at £766m, whilst cash balances were approximately £68m. Undrawn commitments to investments stood at £ 176m at 30th September 2012, calculated using exchange rates at that date. In addition, the Company's multi-currency revolving credit facility agreement, comprising an US$82m facility and a €57m facility, was completely undrawn. PIP continued to see good levels of cash flow in the month. £19.5m of distributions were generated from the portfolio relative to £4.5m in calls from existing commitments to private equity funds. The Company also invested in share buybacks, acquiring for cancellation 60,000 redeemable shares at a price of 745p per share.
