New Contract
The board of PHSC plc are pleased to announce that their subsidiary Personnel
Health & Safety Consultants Ltd (PHSCL) has been awarded a three-year contract
with Isle of Wight Council.
PHSCL will provide an ongoing health and safety training programme to the
Council, and will become its approved supplier for health and safety training.
The directors anticipate that the ongoing training contract will generate
revenues in excess of GBP 100,000 per year for three years, and will be
supplemented by additional ad-hoc services as required.
Stephen King, CEO of PHSC plc, said: "Isle of Wight Council is a progressive
organisation and we are pleased to work in partnership with them. This becomes
the Group's largest training contract with a single employer, and will increase
our profile within the local authority training sector where we are
under-represented".
Simultaneously, PHSC plc will acquire the trading name, assets and goodwill of
Safety Matters (IW), an unincorporated business involved with delivery of the
previous Council training contract. One employee will transfer to PHSCL, along
with a leased training centre based in Cowes.
