PHSC plc is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Personnel
Health & Safety Consultants Limited (PHSCL) has received an order for a health
and safety assessment from the London Borough of Newham, Culture & Community
Services. The work is to be completed in the current quarter and is worth
approximately £39,000 to PHSCL. It will include a complete audit of health and
safety policies covering divisions, locations and full and part time staff.
The aims of this project include:
 To ensure that Culture & Community Services are complying with the
requirements and prohibitions imposed under the different areas of health and
safety legislation.
 To ensure all services within Culture & Community comply with the
health and safety laws that are applicable to the organisation.
 To encourage the maximisation of safety, environmental and
qualitative integration, when and wherever possible, within the service.
 Providing a safer, healthier workplace, which can lift morale,
increase productivity and prevent or reduce the number of accidents and ill
health.
Stephen King, Managing Director of PHSC plc commented 'This contract represents
the largest individual order for PHSCL within the local government sector and
is an area in which PHSC intends to develop its services further.
