PHSC engages key consultant

PHSC plc is pleased to announce they have engaged Kevin Pharoah as a health and
safety consultant with its wholly owned subsidiary PHSCL. Kevin is a safety
professional with considerable experience in health and safety and food safety.

For the three years to date, Kevin was the Director of Safety for the
Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) which comprises key public sector
businesses including JobCentre Plus, The Pension Service, Child Support Agency,
Disability Careers Service and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Kevin was
responsible for devising policy and providing expert advice and guidance.

Prior to leading the Safety department at the DWP, Kevin was Group Health and
Safety Manager for the Dixons Group. He also has extensive prior experience
within environmental health and safety and general hygiene and safety.

Kevin will initially be leading delivery of services pursuant to the contract
with Newham council as announced on 11 October 2005.
