Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 20 June 2008 that following a transaction on 17 June
2008 Barclays PLC has increased its notifiable interest in the voting rights to
33,217,724 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 5.06% of the voting rights in
the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
