Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 08 September 2008 that following a transaction on 05
September 2008 Axa S.A has decreased its notifiable interest in the voting
rights to 32,683,827 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 4.98% of the voting
rights in the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
