Directorship Change

The Board of Premier Energy and Water Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Gillian Nott OBE as a non-executive director of Premier Energy and Water Trust PLC with effect from 1 March 2016.

Mrs Nott worked for 12 years early in her career in the energy business including positions with BP. She went on to be CEO of ProShare, chairman of Witan Pacific Investment Trust plc, deputy chairman of the Association of Investment Companies, a non-executive director of the Financial Services Authority, Baronsmead VCT 2plc, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Investment Trust plc and Liverpool Victoria Friendly Society. She is currently Chairman of JP Morgan Russian Securities plc and non-executive director of BlackRock Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc, Baronsmead VCT 3plc and Baronsmead VCT 5plc. There are no additional details that are required to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13R of the UKLA Listing Rules.

Mrs Nott will stand for election at the AGM in April.

The Board are also announcing that Michael Wigley has indicated his intention not to stand for re-election at the forthcoming AGM. Accordingly Michael will cease to be a Director of the Company with effect from 19 April 2016.
