Friday, 22 October 2010, 14:00 BST Press Release Colin Day, CFO, to leave RB Reckitt Benckiser (RB) announces that Colin Day, chief financial officer and executive member of the Board will leave the company. His successor will be announced in the next few months. Effective succession management is an important business principle in RB. Colin wants to focus increasingly on his portfolio of non-executive positions and other career interests, and the Board has decided that now is a good time to appoint a successor keen to focus on leading the company's finance function in support of the next stage of RB's growth. Bart Becht, CEO, Adrian Bellamy, Chairman, and the rest of the Board want to thank Colin for his 10 years as chief financial officer (CFO). During his tenure he has made a significant contribution to the performance of the business. Our appreciation is in particular for ensuring strong financial management and control, overseeing excellent cash generation and working with the leadership team on a number of key strategic acquisitions. He hands across a baton of a company in a strong financial position for someone else to now take forward. To ensure a smooth transition and an effective handover Colin will remain with the business until end of March 2011.
