5 April 2005 BOARD CHANGES RETIREMENT OF HANS VAN DER WIELEN & ANA MARIA LLOPIS Reckitt Benckiser plc announces that two non-executive directors, who retire by rotation at this year's annual general meeting ('AGM') in accordance with the Company' Articles of Association, have decided not to seek re-election at the AGM on 5th May 2005 and will step down as directors on that date. Hans van der Wielen was appointed to the Board at the time of the merger in 1999, having previously served as a member of the supervisory board of Benckiser NV since 1997. Ana Maria Llopis was appointed to the Board in 1998.
