Total Voting Rights

RECKITT BENCKISER PLC                             

                           Voting Rights and Capital                           

In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.6.1), at close
of business on 30 April 2007, Reckitt Benckiser plc:

  * had 720,325,343 issued ordinary shares of 10 10/19p each admitted to
    trading. Each ordinary share carries the right to one vote in relation to
    all circumstances at general meetings of Reckitt Benckiser plc;
   
  * held 4,132,056 ordinary shares in treasury. The voting rights of treasury
    shares are automatically suspended; and
   
  * accordingly, had total voting rights of 716,193,287.
   
The total voting rights figure (716,193,287) may be used by shareholders (and
others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations
by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in,
or a change to their interest in, Reckitt Benckiser plc under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
